Billy Joe started his music career at Savannah, Georgia’s Bamboo Ranch in the 1950s and 1960s. You might know him from such songs as “Down on the Boondocks” and “Cherry Hill Park”.  Featured Events Three Cups of Tea AADL is pleased to announce the special appearance of adventurer, humanitarian and author Greg Mortenson on Saturday, Jan. 24, 6 – 7:30 pm at Huron High School. Greg is the co-author of the bestselling Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace . . . One School at a Time. His visit is part of a national book tour for the recent release of the youth and teen versions of the book. This event includes a book signing with books for sale courtesy of Nicola’s Books.
