Description
Laurita Thomas retired from her position as Associate Vice President for Human Resources at the University of Michigan after 47 years of service. Here, she stands next to Dennis Oppenheim's sculpture "Arriving Home" on the U-M campus. The garden at the foot of the sculpture is named for her: Laurita's Garden. It will always have something purple in it, her favorite color.
