'Chews Up' Old Hotel A crane equipped with a "clam" bucket chews out big hunks off the south side of old Allenel Hotel. The four-story structure will be demolished in a matter of days to make way for the new 12-story Ann Arbor Inn. The County Building may be seen across Huron Street at the extreme left. The Allenel extends to the right of the picture.
