Mott's Grandchildren Unveil Plaque. Little Marise Maynet (left) and her brother, Jean-Charles (right), grandchildren of 94-year-old Flint philanthropist Charles S. Mott, pull ropes to unveil plaque at dedication ceremonies for the University's new C. S. Mott Children's Hospital yesterday at the new facility. Looking on (left to right) are the Rt. Rev. Richard S. Emrich, Episcopal bishop; Mott, and Edward J. Connors, director of the new $9,500,000 facility. Mott, through his C. S. Mott Foundation, gave $6,500,000 to make the unique 207-bed hospital possible.
