Ann Arbor's new high-pressure fog fire-fighter, an $8,500 truck unit purchased by the University for the city fire department, is now ready for service. In the picture at top, Fireman Dick Williams, Assistant Fire Chief Emil C. Damman and Fireman Ira Navarre are shown beside the new truck. At bottom, Capt. Harold Gauss is trying out the "fog" nozzle as a visiting fire chief, E. L. Cousino of Erie, looks on. The truck is to be equipped with two-way radio.
