Spirits Go Down The Drain: Ann Arbor Police Capt. Henry G. Murray pours the first of a cart load of beer and whisky down a drain at city headquarters. The intoxicants are part of a hoard of partly filled bottles of beverages confiscated by city officers in arrests over a six-month period. The spirits are poured down the drain in the presence of an investigator from the state's Michigan Liquor Control Commission.
