The only well-maintained garden in Arborcrest Cemetery is the Beth Israel Memorial Garden which is cared for by its lotholders. Well-trimmed shrubs and a flower garden are unusual features at Arborcrest which apparently receives little care under the court-ordered maintenance plan. Beth Israel lotholders are prominent among the 600 persons to seek to have the Circuit Court overturn sale of 60 of Arborcrest's original 77 acres and protect it as a cemetery.
