Silly Signal? No, this is not a railroad crossing signal to warn airplanes, it is merely a device which has not been placed in operation. The signal is located at the intersection of Wildt and Summit and is part of a signal-revamping program for the entire intersection, which also includes Hiscock. The system is expected to go into operation Thursday. This particular signal will flash signs to motorists, when a train is passing the intersection, that no right turns or no left turns will be allowed at that time. Cars on Wildt will not be allowed to turn left and cars on Hiscock will not be permitted to turn right.
