WAR DRUMS SOUND AND DEXTERITES ANSWER: Dexter, like every other small town in the northern states, sent its "Lads In Blue" off to war in small contingents usually led by the local commander astride the county's proudest piece of horseflesh. Pictured here is a scene re-enacted from those days for the "Dexter Down the Decades" show which will be given tonight and tomorrow night as part of the town's Centennial celebration which began yesterday.
