Mrs. Sarah Stanbro, shown above, whose 89th birthday was celebrated last week in South Lyon and Salem by a series of parties was organist for the Federated church, Salem, for 64 years. Even at her advanced age she is still in demand as guest organist at church and social functions in both towns. Mrs. Stanbro was born in Salem and at the age of 14 began her long service for the church of that community.
