A Wise (?) Owl Owls are mysterious creatures of the deep woods, right? Then what was one doing perched in a tree yesterday on the Elizabeth Dean Plaza in front of the Ann Arbor Bank? Only the owl knows for sure, and he wasn't talking--only sleeping. A bird-watcher identified it as a Saw-Whet Owl, an absurdly tame little owl uncommon around Ann Arbor and probably passing through on migration.
