Caption
Most people use the stairs when they leave or return to their apartment. But not Fritz, the five-year-old poodle owned by Mr. and Mrs. John Ackley. Fritz is lowered from his owners' third floor balcony via a harness and 100 feet of rope. Following exercise and recreation on the ground, Fritz comes back along the same aerial route. The Ackleys moved to Ann Arbor from Florida and Fritz is having a bit of trouble adjusting to the different climate.
