Washtenaw County Humane Society Manager William Parker greets Tar Baby, the shelter mascot, in front of the shelter's new $65,000 addition. The recently completed addition has increased the shelter's capacity by 80 per cent. Parker says that screens for the runs (structures along the side of the addition) are still lacking, but will be added soon.
