According to the Detroit Free Press, 29 Oct 1946, "At Willow Run to greet Col. Irvine and his crew were L. L. Colbert, president of Dodge Motor Division of Chrysler; C. J. Reese, of Continental Motors; A. J. Kirkpatrick, of Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co., and William A. Mara, of Bendix Aviation."
