Library Framing Going Up: A "sidewalk superintendent" watches as workmen erect steel framing on the E. William St. - S. Fifth Ave. site of the $720,000 Ann Arbor Public Library. The Kurtz Building Co. of Ann Arbor is the general contractor. The library is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 1 and will replace the present public library in the old Ann Arbor High School (the University's Frieze Building) which must be vacated following the sale of the old high school to the U-M for $1,400,000.
