BEAUTY SALON REMODELS, EXPANDS: Phillip's Beauty Salon of 1315-1317 S. University Ave. recently expanded into an adjacent store, completely remodeling the salon and adding all new equipment at a cost of $15,000. The firm has eight styling stations, and nine drying stations. New equipment includes contour chairs for shampooing and other equipment new to the area. The salon's decor is modern with equipment and furnishings generally of soft pink, charcoal and white. The co-owners are Phillip Hardison and Solon Chalker. They employ eight persons.
