Audrey Price looks over some of the "acid-balanced" Redken hair and skin products available at a [sic] her salon. The products are promoted as superior because they have the same pH value as natural hair and skin. A local dermatologist, however, says the products do not harm, but there is no scientific research to indicate that "acid-balance" has an effect on texture or longevity of hair or skin.
