To Celebrate Anniversary: Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Scio township will celebrate its 125th anniversary Sunday. The present church building, erected in 1870, stands on the same site as the original frame structure build shortly after the church was organized in 1833. Salem was the first Lutheran congregation in Michigan.
