Souvenirs of Mrs. Daniel Longone's trips to Mexico include recipes and pottery to serve authentic Mexican dinners. Here she mixes chicken mole, the national dish of Mexico, in an earthenware utensil that may be placed on the flames or in an oven. The mortar and pestle on the right is made of volcanic stone and the idol in front of it is approximately 1,000 years old. Mrs. Longone wears a handmade Huipil, the dress of the Mayan women.
