Pound cake is one of the favorite desserts of the Irven Arnold family. Mrs. Arnold tops it with a frosting of lemon juice and confectioners' sugar. Waldora Arnold developed the recipe, which her mother makes often. Mike, the youngest son, has mastered the technique of making perfect Baked Alaskas. Mrs. Arnold contributes hours of volunteer work by making "treats."
