Delhi School Pupils Lead In Reading Project: Everyone of the 22 pupils of the Delhi school has won a county reading certificate, given to students who have read and reported on at least 15 books. Some of the Delhi pupils have read as many as 100 books, and the school is one of the outstanding in the county in the use of the circulating county library. Shown in this picture is one of the school's two cases of books containing more than 600 volumes. Miss Mildred Walsh has been the teacher at Delhi for 15 years, and her pupils are: Jeannette Schlimmer, Betty, Edward and Robert Darr, Shirley and Gloria March, Gerald and Betty Smith, Margaret Allen, Norwin Braun, Eloise, Jane and Garnet Hudson, Jack Welch, Jean Dick, Betty Jean Wallenhapt, William Downer, Wesley and Sarah Bommer, Donald Backus, Patricia Pingston and James Stotts.
