G. E. Engle's Restored Farmhouse - Feature on the Women's City Club 16th annual home tour to be held April 24 will be the newly restored home of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Engle, 4055 Miller. The Engles revised the kitchen, pantry, and coal bin of the early Scio Township farmhouse to make a family room and kitchen unit with an open barbecue and raised hearth. Located on the former Hiram Arnold property, the white brick house is one of the oldest farmhouses in the area and dates back to the 1820s.
