Farm Youths Beat Kiwanis Team: Two of the highlights of the 4-H clubs' softball game with Ann Arbor Kiwanians yesterday at the Kiwanis - 4-H outing at Portage lake are pictured above. The 4-H team won, 16 to 11. In the top picture George Cooper of the service club is shown at the end of his swing. The ball is in Catcher Leonard Tait's glove. It was a clean miss, but Cooper hit a triple later. Russell "Moose" McCall, pitcher for the 4-H team, is shown in the lower picture [this photo] just after he had connected for a home run in the third inning.
