BANQUET COMMITTEE INSPECTS SPEAKERS' TABLE: Before the speakers' table at the banquet last night of the Federated Garden Clubs of Michigan, are the members of the committee in charge of arrangements for the banquet held in the Michigan Union ballroom. Above them is the emblem of the state organization and on the table is one of the baskets of red geraniums that made the decorations noteworthy. Standing, left to right, are Mrs. Harry Towsley, Mrs. Palmer Christian, Mrs. Carl E. Badgley, Mrs. John Bradfield and Mrs. J. Griffith Hays. Seated are Mrs. Philip E. Bursley (left) and the committee chairman, Mrs. Frederick A. Coller. Mrs. Alfred H. Goodhew and Mrs. Frank I. Cornwell, two other members of the committee are not in the picture.
