Holiday Potpourri: A simple and effective mantel decoration was made by Mrs. Robert Ellis of Overridge Dr. She has combined a Madonna figurine with tall copper candlesticks. To match the candlesticks, she has painted some of the baubles with copper paint and the others are in blue to match the color in the figurine. The candles also are blue. The arrangement is st in a bank of Scotch pine branches. It was designed for the Ann Arbor Garden Club's Christmas tea held recently at the Women's City Club.
