Almost Half Way There! Well, this is what Laddie Ann Arbor and Lassie County like. They are really busy today marking up the "$" signs that show how Washtenaw county is marching on toward its $92,500 Red Cross goal. Today's audited total for the county was $40, 722, which is 44 per cent of the $92,500 at which we are aiming. Ann Arbor's total was $32,658, more than half way to the city's $61,500 goal. So Laddie Ann ARbor marked up his 16th "$" on the cross and started on his 17th. Each "$" sign represents $2,000. Lassie County finished her fourth "$" sign. Thus far the county outside Ann Arbor has reported contributions of $8,064, which is 26 per cent of its quota. Every contributor becomes a part of the Red Cross and shares in its splended work. Have you, Dear Reader, joined the great home army that proudly wears the Red Cross badge? Now is your chance. Solictors are at work throughout the county, Red Cross workers are in the banks. No one need be missed. Get your bade and war it!
