Well, Laddie Ann Arbor and Lassie County are getting right down to work marking up Red Cross "$" signs. Today Lassie County was busier than Laddie Ann Arbor, for she marked up two "$" signs, each representing $2,000 and started on another. Collections turned in from outside Ann Arbor now total $13,721, which is 44 per cent of the $31,000 goal for that area. Ann Arbor returned reached $37,977 today, which is 61.7 per cent of the city's quota. Washtenaw county as a whole now has turned in $51,698, or nearly 56 per cent of its $92,500 quota. Response to the Red Cross appeal for fund to carry on its splendid work with our armed forces, here at home, and with the distressed everywhere has been generous. Are you, Dear Reader, one of the big-hearted givers?
