Staring At The Ceiling Can Be Fun: Harold A. Schumann, 23-year-old polio patient at the Ann Arbor Convalescent Home, is reading a book -- on the ceiling -- and it's quite an accomplishment. The only part of his body he can move is his head, from left to right. With that movement he can press a button which controls a ceiling projector. The projector flashes a book on the ceiling, page by page. As he finishes a page, he presses the button to advance the film to the next page.
