THE GRAYLING WINTER SPORTS PARK in the Hanson Military Reserve provides the best example of the growing enthusiasm for winter sports in Michigan. On peak Sundays, this sports center will attract more than 3,000 visitors. Taken from the parking area, this picture shows the warming buildings at the left. On the hill beyond them a crowd is collected around the ski jump. To the right, on the hill is the toboggan take-off building: the four slides are just beyond the toboggan conveyor, which is the long line stretching down from the take-off building. The skating rink and other downhill ski runs are not shown.
