The musical talent and advancement of these students in the junior and senior high schools here was given recognition by their selection for participation in the annual music festival of the Southeastern Michigan Band and Orchestra association, held Saturday. Left to right are: front row, Mary Katherine Harris, Elizabeth Ivanoff, Beatrice Griffith, Anne Hansen and Dagmar Samlson; second row, William Schosser, Malcolm Alber, Edward Henselman and Bertrand Greve; and third row, Clare Schosser, Orin Lichty, Burt Lutz, Peter Van Scherpe, Marshall Loughlin and Kenneth Mathews. The director standing at the right is William Champion of the public school music department faculty.
