ANN ARBOR ALL-AMERICANS HONORED: Three of Michigan's 21 All-American football players are home bred Ann Arbor boys and former stars at Ann Arbor High school. Ann Arbor is the only high school in the country that can boast of three All-American players picked on Collier's first team. The A. A. club, an organization of former Ann Arbor High letter-winners, last night arranged a gathering in their honor at the K. of C. club rooms, following the Ann Arbor high - Jackson High football game at Wines Field. Shown above are the former All-Americans. Reading from left to right they are: Ernest Allmendinger, guard, picked in 1917; Johnny Maulbetsch, halfback, selected in 1914 and Otto Pommerening, tackle, who gained All-American fame in 1928.
