DETERMINED TO WIN: Battle Creek's Bearcats, unbeaten in state hight school swimming circles for the past six years, will bump into a determined band of Pioneers when they invade the Michigan Union pool Friday night for their annual battle with Coach Don Drake's proteges. The Pioneers have been looking ahead for several weeks to the meet and, as the top picture show, are putting everything they have into their practice sessions at the Union pool. The members of the squad are starting the day's activities right with a sprint the length of the tank.
