A schedule mixup for Cindy Hart, above, a 10th grader, is one of many facing Albert Gallup, assistant principal at Huron High School, on the first day of school. The class in the background has 49 students enrolled but, as Gallup says, "There are going to be some changed made." Barbara Alpern, a 10th grader, pictured below, is one of the lucky students to have a locker even if it only is about 10 inches wide. An estimated 2,400 students will be enrolled at Huron this year. The $12.4 million school building, which was completed in 1969, was built for 1,800 students.
