Among those getting ready are Pioneers Larry Fowler (left) and Jim Dixon (right) plus St. Thomas' George Sears (center). Fowler, a junior, plays fullback and is credited with Ann Arbor's longest scoring run, 85 yards, this season. The versatile Dixon, a senior, appears as a defensive end or back at times, runs the team as quarterback at others, has been an offensive halfback, and last year was the Pioneers' extra-point booter. Sears, a junior lineman, is a defensive specialist for St. Thomas. Ann Arbor will meet Jackson High, St. Thomas Jackson St. John.
