Ten Pennies Make A Dime: Preparing for their annual basement "Penny Carnival," the children of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Euper of 11928 Whitmore Lake Rd., Whitmore Lake, place finishing touches on a fish pond and ball-toss booth designed to raise pennies for the New March of Dimes from neighborhood children between 1:30 and 4 p.m. Saturday. Linda, 13, tests a fish pole (left) and Susan 5, surveys the basement as Terry, 15, points out the mouth of Bozo the Clown to his sister, Nancy, 10, who is winding up to throw. The Euper children have conducted their unofficial "Carnival" for the March of Dimes each year since Nancy was stricken with polio six years ago. It started with six or seven neighborhood children and gradually grew. More than 50 are expected to watch a magic show, have their fortunes told and play the booths for pennies this Saturday.
