EAST AND WEST: Smiling happily William F. Corkery and his bride, the former Riyo Sato, of Yokohama, Japan, pose following their marriage Saturday at St. Mary's Chapel rectory. The bride flew from Yokohama to Ann Arbor last week to join her fiance, whom she met when he was in Tokyo with Army Intelligence. Corkery is a student in Far Eastern history in the University. They will postpone their honeymoon until the University's spring vacation which starts April 7 and then will to go New York and Providence, R.I. the bridegroom's home. When Corkery has completed work for his Doctor of Philosophy degree they will go to Japan for 18 months while he does field research work for the University's Center of Japanese Studies base.
