OPENS BASEBALL SEASON: Mayor Walter C. Sadler is shown throwing out the first ball at West Park last night as the newly-organized Industrial baseball league got under way with King-Seeley nosing out the American Broach nine, 6-5. The league will play all its games at West Park on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 5:45. The loop embraces five teams, King-Seeley, American Broach, Detroit Edison, Bell Telephone and Cook Springs.
