'THUMBS DOWN'" Attorney George Burke, jr., refuses to allow Detective Capt. Al Heusel (left) to use a fish net to shag fly balls in the police-lawyer softball game yesterday morning at Slauson School's west diamond. Overlooking the argument in his accustomed role is Municipal Court Judge Francis O'Brien who served as umpire. Result of the contests was a 9 to 4 triumph for the police.
