Settling A Final Title: The seven-week-plus City Tennis Tournament was at an end today with Louise Stanley and Mary Hiniker (left to right in background) having claimed the Women's Doubles crown, 6-4, 6-3, over Lucille Kapplinger (foreground) and Winnie Shoemaker in last night's title match at Burns Park. Mrs. Stanley didn't defend her Women's Singles title but she and Frank Whitehouse earlier won the Mixed Doubles crown. Other 1961 champions are Ed Shoemaker, Men's Singles; Karen Knowles, Women's singles and Girls (18 and under) Singles; Whitehouse and Bill Pritula, Men's Doubles; Bill Dixon, Boys (18 and under) Singles; John Stanley, Boys (15 and under) Singles; Rick Weir, Boys (13 and under) Singles; Carmen Brummet, Girls (15 and under) Singles; Denny Chandler and Paul Dimond, boys (18 and under) Doubles, and Stanley and Bob Brown, Boys (15 and under Doubles.
