CITY CHAMPIONS TO PLAY TONIGHT: Pfeiffers, winners of the recent title in the Girls' Basketball league, will demonstrate their prowess at 7:30 tonight at the Ann Arbor high school gym when they oppose the King-Seeley girls in an exhibition game as a preliminary to the city championship struggle between Old Hickory, champions of the Recreational league and King-Seeley, winners in Class A of the Industrial league. The latter game will start at 8:45. Katherine Stadel, captain of the Pfeiffer girls, shown above, is giving her team the last minute instructions. She apparently is telling her teammates to "put the ball in the basket." The players are, from left to right, Ruth Mitchell, Mary Pegan, Coralee Lanning, Katherine Stadel, Cora Gleason, Vivian Windsor and Helen Bethke. They went through a nine-game league schedule with the loss of only one game - dropping that decision to the King-Seeley, their opponents tonight. Bessie Gaglis, Irene Kapp and Muriel Whiteman, three other members of the Pfeiffer team were not present when the above picture was taken.
