Description

"Mrs. Elliott Guttman and Mr. Guttman were divorced, and he has since passed away. Her first name is (and was) Joan. She later married Ann Arbor businessman Bennett French, and, as Joan French, for several years operated an ice cream parlor on State Street known as "Jason's". Mr. French also has passed on, and she was briefly married to another man who also has died -- but I believe she still goes by the name Joan French." - Wystan Stevens
