Meals Served -- At Least Today. Breakfast was served in this West Quadrangle dining room today and in all of the University's other dormitories, but U-M officials were making no predictions as to how long meals can be continued in the face of a strike launched at midnight by Local 1583 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, representing 2,600 U-M service and maintenance workers.
