HEAR SOVIET SPACEMAN: William B. Stegath (foreground), production director at University radio station WUOM, and Richard J. Lutz, a U-M graduate student, operate the shortwave receiver on which Lutz early yesterday picked up the first broadcast heard in the U.S. of the voice of Soviet spaceman Maj. Gherman S. Titov. Lutz, who is unshaven because of his long vigil at the receiver, is preparing a program on the event for broadcast over WUOM at 4:15 p.m.
