Michigras Parade Takes To Ann Arbor Streets, April 1952

"Scholarship" was the theme of the float which took first place honors in judging at the Michigras parade which wound through Ann Arbor streets yesterday. The winning float was built jointly by Alpha Phi sorority and Theta Xi fraternity. Judges were Mrs. Harlan Hatcher, J. Fred Lawton, author of "The Varsity" lyrics, Mayor William E. Brown, jr., and Richard Wilt of the U-M Architecture School.
