Detective George Stauch (left) of the Ann Arbor police department was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant, and Patrolman Harold Olson (right) [this photo]was elevated to sergeant in the uniformed division in promotions by the Police Commission. Stauch joined the force in November, 1935, and Olson in November, 1945.
