'NESTING' AIRPLANE: Fierce winds deposited this smashed airplane in a tree on the David Potter farm at 8684 McKean Rd. just northeast of Willis in Augusta township. The plane, tethered near a landing strip on the Potter property, is owned by Ballard Runyon, jr., of nearby 9280 Macey Rd. It was valued at $4,300. Another plane tethered nearby escaped damage from the freakish winds.
