Three men were injured at noon yesterday when these planes collided after taking off from Ann Arbor Municipal Airport. George W. Toma of Dexter, pilot of the plane in the background; his student passenger, Elmer F. Hoyer of Southfield, and Richard A. Redwine of Toledo are in satisfactory condition at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. The planes collided 25 feet in the air after taking off from separate runways.
