GONE WITH THE WIND: Most of the canoes at Wirth's Canoe Livery, 1055 Longshore Dr., were untouched by high winds which scattered walls and roof of the shelter. Parts of the debris were carried 50 feet by the wind. Damage, including only one demolished canoe, was placed at $3,000. (Story on page 19)
