Difficulties which may have surprised the pilot, but which came as no surprise to local persons who long have advocated improvement of the Ann Arbor airport, developed when one of the army's Bell Airacobra planes ran off a runway yesterday. The plane - much to the city's embarrassment - got stuck in the mud. Willing helpers are shown pulling it free. One other ship got stuck.
