April 25, 1942

Sadly, too few truck trailer drivers know their Holy Bible, else they would sense, beforehand, that it is nearly as difficult for a camel to pass through the needle's eye as it is for one of their behemoths to pass under the Ann Arbor Railroad viaduct over W. Washington St.

Ignoring the "10 ft., 6 in." clearance sign thundering at him from the side of the viaduct, a truck trailer driver tried to bull his 11 ft. 8 in. truck through the opening.

It wasn't even a tight fit (See photo).
